On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders manually set prices through buying and selling shares for each possible score outcome. The current top outcome displayed reflects the aggregate belief of participants about which scoreline is most probable. As the match approaches, news about player injuries, recent form, or weather conditions can cause rapid shifts in these prices. The top outcome’s chance percentage shown on Polymarket captures the market’s collective forecast at any moment.
This market resolves around Aug 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score that appears in authoritative sports news sources or official league records will determine the winning outcome. Traders who held shares in that exact score before resolution will see their positions settle accordingly, while all other outcomes expire worthless.
Injuries to key players, changes in coaching strategy, or even weather forecasts for the match day can all shift this market. Traders will react to any news that affects the expected pace or scoring potential of the game. For example, if a top scorer is ruled out or a crucial defender is suspended, the odds on high-scoring outcomes may drop sharply. Conversely, a return from injury for a star player could push probabilities toward more aggressive scorelines.
