In the upcoming J2 100 Year Vision League game between Montedio Yamagata and Matsumoto Yamaga FC, scheduled for May 31, 2026 at 1:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Montedio Yamagata vs. Matsumoto Yamaga FC match originally scheduled for May 31, 2026 at 1:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
On Polymarket, the Montedio Yamagata vs. Matsumoto Yamaga FC exact-score market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on order flow and liquidity. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each possible scoreline is represented as a separate contract, and traders buy or sell shares to express their prediction. Prices reflect the cumulative belief of all participants; as more capital flows into a particular outcome, its price rises and implied probability increases. Polymarket's transparent, decentralized structure means all pricing is visible on-chain, and settlement is determined by the event's actual result once the match concludes.
The market resolves on May 31, 2026, after the Montedio Yamagata vs. Matsumoto Yamaga FC match concludes. Resolution is determined by the official final scoreline recorded by the J2 League and confirmed by authoritative sports data sources. The exact score—combining goals scored by both teams across the full 90 minutes plus any injury time—determines which outcome contract settles to 1.0 (correct prediction) and all others to 0.0. Any postponement or rescheduling will delay resolution until the match is actually played.
Key catalysts include team news such as injuries to star players, lineup announcements, or managerial changes that affect expected goal output. Recent form, head-to-head history, and home-field advantage for Montedio Yamagata or Matsumoto Yamaga FC can shift odds as match day approaches. Weather conditions, pitch quality, and referee assignments may influence scoring patterns. As kickoff nears, market liquidity and late-arriving information—such as last-minute roster updates or betting syndicate activity—typically drive sharp repricing. Live-trading activity during the match itself will also reflect in-game events, though the market resolves only after the final whistle.
