Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, particularly as an event approaches. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from perceived public miscalculations. This market, however, is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs, creating a potentially more efficient price discovery process. While sportsbook odds can serve as a useful data point, they frequently diverge from the probabilities expressed in this market as new information emerges.

Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding player form, injuries, or changes in playing conditions could significantly shift the odds. Unexpected results in other matches featuring these players could also impact sentiment. Furthermore, large trading volume from informed bettors could indicate a shift in expectations. Public opinion and analysis from darts experts may also play a role, though the market ultimately reflects the collective judgment of those with ‘skin in the game’.
