Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi apply identical resolution logic: the market resolves based on the official match outcome (win, loss, or draw) after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 18, 2026, with consistent handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from Lega Serie B (the governing body for Serie B professional soccer in Italy) or credible reporting consensus if official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Frosinone Calcio market resolves YES if and only if Frosinone wins in regular time (90 minutes plus stoppage time); resolves NO otherwise.
Modena FC 2018 market resolves YES if and only if Modena wins in regular time (90 minutes plus stoppage time); resolves NO otherwise.
Draw market resolves YES if and only if the match ends in a draw after 90 minutes plus stoppage time; resolves NO otherwise.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, Frosinone and Modena markets resolve NO, and the Draw market resolves YES.
Extra time and penalties are explicitly excluded from resolution scope.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all three markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed. Resolution then occurs based on the actual outcome of the completed match.
Match Cancellation Without Make-up: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, the Frosinone and Modena win markets resolve NO, while the Draw market resolves YES (treating cancellation as a non-decisive outcome).
Resolution Source Hierarchy: Primary source is official Lega Serie B statistics. If official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion, resolution uses consensus from credible reporting sources.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of the final match result by Lega Serie B or, if delayed, upon consensus of credible reporting within 2 hours after the match concludes.
