On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price reflects the aggregate sentiment of all participants, creating a dynamic and evolving forecast. This contrasts with fixed-odds betting, where the odds are set in advance and don't change based on subsequent trading activity.
This market resolves around Sep 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Mocan vs. Ursu fight, as declared by the relevant sporting authority. The platform will verify the result against publicly available sources to determine the winning outcome. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. News regarding fighter injuries, changes in training regimens, or even pre-fight press conference statements could all impact trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about the fight’s location or rules could also play a role. Public opinion, as reflected in social media and sports news, can also indirectly influence trading behavior. Any significant development related to either fighter or the fight itself has the potential to move this market before Sep 28, 2026.
