This market refers to the Mobile Legends Bang Bang match between The MongolZ and Victory Song Gamers in the Mid Season Cup Wildcard Group A, initially scheduled for July 1 at 8:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "The MongolZ" if The MongolZ win the match against Victory Song Gamers. This market will resolve to "Victory Song Gamers" if Victory Song Gamers win the match against The MongolZ. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/mobilelegends/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/mobilelegends/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets price outcomes based on trader conviction and real-money risk. This market may show stronger or weaker conviction than a sportsbook line for the same matchup, depending on whether informed traders believe the bookmaker's odds undervalue or overvalue either team's chances. Comparing the two can reveal where smart money sees edge.
On Polymarket, traders set the price of this market through an automated market maker (AMM) mechanism, where buying or selling shares shifts the odds in real time. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders buy shares backing one outcome, the higher its implied probability climbs; conversely, selling pressure lowers it. This continuous repricing ensures the market reflects the latest information and trader sentiment. Liquidity providers earn fees on all trades, incentivizing deep order books and tight spreads around fair value.
This market resolves around Jul 1, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the best-of-one format within the Mid Season Cup Wildcard Group A bracket. Resolution occurs after the official tournament organizers and broadcast confirm the final score and victor. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless.
Several factors could shift odds before the match begins. Roster announcements, player injuries, or last-minute lineup changes for either team would likely trigger repricing. Tournament bracket updates, seeding changes, or news about opponent strength could also influence trader positioning. Recent scrim results, patch updates affecting game balance, or coaching staff changes might sway perception of team readiness. Media coverage highlighting form trends or head-to-head history can drive sentiment swings. Any official statement from team management or the tournament organizer could accelerate trading volume and price movement.
