This market refers to the Mobile Legends Bang Bang match between The Huns Esports and Team Falcons in the Mid Season Cup Wildcard Group B, initially scheduled for July 1 at 8:45AM ET. This market will resolve to "The Huns Esports" if The Huns Esports win the match against Team Falcons. This market will resolve to "Team Falcons" if Team Falcons win the match against The Huns Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/mobilelegends/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/mobilelegends/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently because they operate under distinct incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets rely on traders' collective judgment competing for returns. This market's odds reflect what participants are willing to stake, often incorporating real-time information and sentiment shifts that sportsbooks may lag in capturing. Comparing the two can reveal where professional bettors and casual traders diverge on their confidence in the outcome, though each venue serves different risk appetites and trading styles.
On Polymarket, traders set the price by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the cumulative positions of all participants, with each trade moving the price based on supply and demand. As new information emerges—team roster changes, recent performance, or injury updates—traders adjust their positions, shifting the probability upward or downward. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market price incorporates available knowledge in real time, making it a dynamic gauge of participant expectations.
This market resolves around Jul 1, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official final score and winner as documented by esports news outlets and the tournament organizers. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as new information and match developments unfold. Resolution is automatic once the event result is confirmed, closing all open positions and settling winnings to those who correctly predicted the outcome.
Several catalysts could shift trader sentiment before the match concludes. Last-minute roster announcements or player substitutions would signal a change in team strength, prompting immediate repricing. Recent tournament results or head-to-head records between the teams may surface new analysis that reshapes expectations. In-game momentum during the match itself—early kills, objective control, or strategic pivots—will drive real-time trading as the outcome becomes clearer. Media commentary, analyst predictions, and social sentiment from the esports community can also influence participant confidence, causing price swings as the event unfolds.
