This market refers to the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Upper bracket quarterfinal 2 match between Team Falcons PH and Guangzhou Gaming in the Mid Season Cup Group A, initially scheduled for July 22 at 6:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "Team Falcons PH" if Team Falcons PH win the match against Guangzhou Gaming. This market will resolve to "Guangzhou Gaming" if Guangzhou Gaming win the match against Team Falcons PH. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/mobilelegends/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/mobilelegends/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and extract margin, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. For esports events like this one, sportsbook coverage may be limited or unavailable, making prediction markets a primary venue for price discovery. Comparing the two when both exist can reveal whether professional oddsmakers and decentralized traders agree on the likely outcome.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker and order book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Prices fluctuate based on supply and demand; as more capital flows into one outcome, its price rises and its implied probability increases. The top outcome currently reflects strong trader conviction, visible in the price action and volume concentration. Participants can enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes, allowing continuous repricing as new information emerges.
This market resolves around Jul 22, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the official result of the best-of-three series between the two teams. Resolution occurs after the event is complete and confirmed through established esports news sources and tournament records. Traders should monitor the event schedule to ensure they manage positions ahead of the resolution window.
Market prices may shift based on team roster changes, recent performance in qualifying rounds, or injury announcements affecting key players. Pre-match commentary from analysts and community sentiment on social media can also influence trader positioning. Live updates during the series itself—such as early game momentum, map bans, or unexpected strategic shifts—typically drive the most significant price movements. News about patch changes or meta shifts in the game may also prompt traders to reassess their odds before the match begins.
