This market refers to the Mobile Legends Bang Bang match between Selangor Red Giants and PRO Esports in the Mid Season Cup Group B, initially scheduled for July 23 at 5:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Selangor Red Giants" if Selangor Red Giants win the match against PRO Esports. This market will resolve to "PRO Esports" if PRO Esports win the match against Selangor Red Giants. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/mobilelegends/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/mobilelegends/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets price outcomes based on trader belief and real-money commitment. For esports events like this one, prediction markets may react faster to roster changes, scrim results, or community sentiment, whereas sportsbooks may lag or apply wider margins. Comparing the two can reveal where informed traders see value relative to conventional betting lines.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader positions into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each contract represents a potential outcome, and the cost to buy reflects the current implied likelihood. As traders buy or sell, the price adjusts continuously, ensuring the market remains responsive to new information about team strength, recent performance, and match conditions. This dynamic pricing mechanism encourages early traders to profit from accurate predictions.
This market resolves around Jul 23, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the official series winner as confirmed through established esports news sources and the tournament organizer's records. Until that point, traders can adjust positions based on live match performance, team announcements, or other developments that shift expectations about the final result.
Several catalysts could shift odds before resolution. Roster announcements, player injuries, or last-minute substitutions can alter perceived team strength. Scrim results or recent tournament performance by either squad may influence trader confidence. In-game momentum during the match itself—such as an unexpected game one result—typically triggers sharp repricing of subsequent games. Community sentiment on social media and analyst commentary can also sway market participants, especially if respected esports personalities share contrarian takes on team matchups or meta advantages.
