  • If Lindor officially joins a new MLB team by August 3, 2026, the market resolves to that team
  • If Lindor remains with the New York Mets by August 3, 2026, the market resolves to the Mets
  • If Lindor joins an unlisted team or is not under contract by August 3, 2026, the market resolves to "Other" (Polymarket) or "Yes" for remaining with the Mets (Kalshi)

Polymarket

This market will resolve to the next team Francisco Lindor officially joins by August 3, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. If Francisco Lindor does not officially join a new team by August 3, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “New York Mets”. If Francisco Lindor joins a team that is not listed, this market will resolve to “Other”. If Francisco Lindor is released, retires, or is not under contract with any professional team by August 3, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. An official trade announcement prior to the market’s close date will immediately resolve this market to the corresponding option. The primary resolution sources for this market will be official announcements from the New York Mets and/or the acquiring team. A consensus of credible media reporting may also be used to resolve the market.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on Tarik Skubal's official team affiliation status before August 5, 2026. If Skubal signs with a specific team—whether as a free agent or after being traded—the corresponding team market resolves to Yes. If he remains with his original team through a contract extension or re-signing, that team's market also resolves to Yes. If Skubal officially retires or is unsigned by the deadline, the "Retires / No Team" market resolves to Yes. Contracts must be officially reported by the league or announced by Skubal through a source agency to trigger resolution. No market resolves if Skubal simply extends his current contract without changing teams.
