Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All platforms share identical resolution logic for determining the first goal scorer within regular time plus stoppage time, with consistent fallback data sources and handling of postponements/cancellations.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics from the governing body or event organizers, with fallback to Flashscore, Sofascore, or credible reporting

Core resolution logic:

  • Resolve to the team that scores first within 90 minutes plus stoppage time
  • Resolve to "Neither" if no goals are scored in that timeframe
  • Postponements keep markets open; cancellations resolve to "Neither"

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Postponement: Market remains open until the match is completed
  • Cancellation: Market resolves to "Neither" if no make-up game is scheduled
  • Extra Time: Goals scored in extra time or penalty shoot-outs are excluded from resolution
Timing: Resolution occurs based on official match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, or upon availability of fallback data sourcesOur PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to unique trader dynamics and lower liquidity. While sportsbooks may set lines based on broader public betting or analytical models, prediction markets let participants bet directly on outcomes, sometimes producing sharper or more volatile prices. The gap can be especially noticeable for underdogs, where Polymarket traders might assign higher chances than sportsbooks. Monitoring both sources helps spot potential value shifts.

Injuries to key attackers, weather delays, or tactical changes announced by coaches can all shift this market. High-profile player suspensions or last-minute lineup updates may also sway trader sentiment. Additionally, early goal momentum during the match can cause rapid probability swings, especially if one side dominates early. Keeping an eye on pre-match news and live in-game developments helps anticipate potential moves.
