In the upcoming Allsvenskan game between Mjallby AIF and GAIS, scheduled for September 20, 2026 at 10:30 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Mjallby AIF vs. GAIS match originally scheduled for September 20, 2026 at 10:30 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance their risk, incorporating a margin for profit. This market, however, is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs, potentially leading to more accurate probabilities, especially as the event approaches. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information access, biases, or simply variations in opinion regarding the likely outcome of the Mjallby vs. GAIS match.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact score outcomes, and the price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are determined solely by supply and demand; if many traders believe Mjallby AIF will win 1-0, they will buy shares representing that outcome, driving up its price and implied probability. Conversely, selling pressure will lower the price.
This market resolves around Sep 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Mjallby AIF vs. GAIS match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing football association. The market will determine which exact score outcome was the correct result, and shares in that outcome will pay out according to the market’s pricing at the time of resolution. No further trading will be possible after the match concludes.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Mjallby AIF or GAIS would likely cause shifts in probabilities. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions on match day could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about team lineups or key player availability shortly before the game are also likely to move the market. Finally, large volume trades from informed participants could signal shifts in expectations and lead to price movements.
