These markets evaluate how many points are scored in the final quarter of a college football game between Missouri and Mississippi State. Each market has a different threshold for the total points scored by both teams combined during that specific quarter.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams in the fourth quarter of the Missouri vs Mississippi State college football game scheduled for September 26, 2026, excluding any overtime periods. Each market has a specific threshold (ranging from 2.5 to 27.5 points); if the combined fourth-quarter points exceed the threshold, the market resolves to Yes. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of the original start time, the markets remain open and resolve according to the final official result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Only points scored during the fourth quarter count toward these markets.
Generally, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can sometimes differ from those offered by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on internal models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or breaking news. These differences can present opportunities for arbitrage, where traders attempt to profit from the mispricing between the two types of markets.
This market resolves around Sep 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the fourth quarter of the Missouri vs Mississippi State game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The total points scored during that period will be the determining factor for settlement. The market will then pay out to those who correctly predicted whether the total points scored will be over or under a certain threshold, as defined by the contract price at the time of purchase.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries for either the Missouri or Mississippi State teams would likely cause movement. Significant changes in weather conditions, particularly if they impact the passing or running game, could also shift expectations. Late-breaking news about coaching strategies or team morale might also play a role. Finally, as the game approaches, public betting patterns and expert analysis could contribute to price fluctuations in this market.
