Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while prediction markets reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. This can lead to prediction markets incorporating information more quickly and efficiently than sportsbooks, especially when there’s disagreement or uncertainty. It’s common to see discrepancies, with this market potentially offering a different perspective than conventional betting options.
