On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform uses an Automated Market Maker (AMM) model, meaning prices adjust based on the supply and demand of shares, rather than a traditional order book. This ensures there’s always a market available, but price movements can be influenced by the size of trades.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Mishchenko vs. Levshyn match as reported by the governing sporting body. The platform will verify the outcome against publicly available sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be paid out based on the final market price at the time of resolution, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment.
Several signals or events could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected performance in preceding matches could shift trader sentiment. Public announcements about the players’ physical condition or training regimens would also be closely watched. Furthermore, any external factors impacting the match conditions, such as weather forecasts or venue changes, could influence the perceived probabilities. Major upsets in related competitions or shifts in expert analysis could also contribute to price movements in this market.
