The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different market structures and participant bases. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven purely by trader consensus—no house margin. Prediction markets typically react faster to new information and can offer sharper pricing on niche outcomes, such as exact scores, where traditional sportsbooks may not offer comparable depth. However, sportsbook odds remain a useful benchmark for comparing implied probabilities and spotting relative value across venues.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into real-time odds for each exact score outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome currently reflects strong trader conviction, and prices adjust continuously as new volume flows in. Each exact score is represented as a separate contract, so you can trade any scoreline independently. The system ensures transparent, friction-free pricing where your order execution depends only on the current pool depth and your trade size, not on a counterparty or manual adjustment.
This market resolves around Aug 2, 2026, once the Mirassol versus Grêmio match concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at the end of regulation play. Traders holding contracts matching the verified final score receive their payout, while all other positions expire worthless. Resolution is typically confirmed within hours of the match ending, allowing payouts to settle promptly.
Team news—injuries, suspensions, lineup changes, or managerial shifts—can significantly alter exact score probabilities by affecting offensive and defensive capability. Recent form, head-to-head history, and home-field advantage all influence trader expectations. Weather conditions on match day may favor certain playing styles. As the kickoff approaches, late-breaking roster updates or tactical announcements often trigger sharp repricing. During the match itself, early goals, red cards, or momentum swings will cause rapid shifts in live odds, reflecting real-time game state and remaining time.
