The market resolves to Yes for whichever player wins set 2 in the Miomir Kecmanovic vs Hamad Medjedovic match at the 2026 ATP Mallorca Round of 32. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play will resolve accordingly; those that cannot be settled will resolve to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets like this one aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may offer sharper or more reactive pricing on the Set 2 outcome than traditional sportsbooks, especially as new information emerges. Comparing the two can reveal where one venue undervalues or overvalues a particular outcome, though prediction markets typically converge toward consensus as the event approaches.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Prices range from $0 to $1, with the current price reflecting the collective probability estimate of the trading community. When you buy shares at a lower price, you profit if that outcome occurs; conversely, selling at a higher price locks in gains if you believe the outcome is overpriced. The continuous auction format ensures prices adjust dynamically as new trades flow in, keeping the market efficient and responsive to breaking news or match developments.
This market resolves around Jun 22, 2026, once the second set of the Kecmanovic vs Medjedovic match concludes and the winner is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which player wins the set, with no ambiguity in the result. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout automatically upon resolution. Until that time, prices will fluctuate based on match momentum, player performance, and real-time developments during the match itself.
Several factors can shift prices in this market before resolution. Player form and recent match results leading up to the event will influence early trading. During the match, the outcome of the first set, momentum swings, and visible fatigue or injury concerns can trigger sharp price moves. Betting patterns and large trades from informed participants often signal conviction and attract follow-on volume. Weather conditions, court surface conditions, and any tactical adjustments between sets may also prompt traders to reassess probabilities. Real-time commentary and social media sentiment can amplify these moves, especially if unexpected developments unfold.
