On Kalshi and Predict, prices can vary because each platform attracts distinct trader groups and uses unique liquidity models. Kalshi and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one venue might see heavier institutional participation, while another leans toward retail traders, skewing probabilities. Additionally, differences in market design, such as fee structures or order types, can influence how traders place bets, leading to divergent odds even when tracking the same event. These factors combine to create unique price discovery on each platform.
