On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks on the outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As new information emerges—injuries, weather, or bullpen news—traders adjust their orders, moving the price to reflect updated expectations about how the first five innings will unfold.
This market resolves around Jun 30, 2026, once the Minnesota versus Houston game concludes and the first 5 innings result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the official box score and game records at that time. Until resolution, you can hold or trade your position as new developments emerge.
Key catalysts include lineup announcements, starting pitcher confirmation, and any late injuries to star players. Weather conditions—wind direction and temperature—can significantly affect early-inning scoring dynamics. Bullpen availability and recent form of relief pitchers also influence trader positioning. Breaking news about player health or unexpected roster moves in the hours before first pitch typically triggers sharp price movement as the market reprices around new information.
