Description

This event tracks whether a specific player hits one or more home runs, or two or more home runs, in an upcoming baseball game between two teams. The outcome depends entirely on the player's performance during the game. If the player does not participate as defined, the market adjusts accordingly.

Kalshi

The event evaluates two distinct outcomes based on the number of home runs hit by Byron Buxton in a specified baseball game. The first outcome resolves to Yes if Buxton hits one or more home runs, while the second requires him to hit two or more. Both markets share consistent participant criteria: if Buxton is not in the starting lineup, is scratched, or does not record a plate appearance, the market resolves to the fair market price. Pinch-hit at-bats are excluded from consideration. Settlement for both markets occurs only if Buxton is in the starting lineup and records at least one plate appearance, at which point the resolution depends on the number of home runs he hits relative to each market's threshold.
