These markets track the performance of pitcher Robert Gasser in a specific baseball game between Milwaukee and Los Angeles. The outcomes depend on the number of strikeouts he achieves during his starting pitching appearance. If he doesn't start or is scratched, the markets settle at fair market value.
The official rules for these markets govern the resolution based on Robert Gasser’s strikeout performance in the specified baseball game. If Gasser records the minimum number of strikeouts specified for any market (ranging from 2 to 8), that market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. A key condition is that only strikeouts recorded during Gasser’s starting pitching appearance count—relief appearances do not qualify. If Gasser is scratched or not a starting pitcher, all markets resolve to the fair market price. Furthermore, if Gasser starts but does not face at least one batter, no market will resolve based on strikeouts and will also settle at fair market value. These rules ensure clarity in settlement, protecting against scenarios where Gasser’s participation is uncertain or altered before or during the game.
