The event centers around determining which driver achieves the fastest lap time during a major auto race. Competitors' performances are measured against each other, with specific conditions governing outcomes such as disqualifications or tied results.
Each market corresponds to an individual driver’s potential to achieve the fastest valid lap time during the specified race. If the named driver records the fastest lap, that market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. Should the driver retire, be disqualified, or fail to finish, the market automatically resolves to No. In cases where two or more drivers tie for the fastest lap, Yes positions receive a payout of $1 divided by the number of tied competitors (rounded down to the nearest cent), while No positions receive the remainder. If the race is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, markets remain open and resolve based on final results. If the race is canceled or does not start within this window, all markets resolve to a fair price. All determinations are based solely on official, finalized race results published by IndyCar, not provisional data.
This market resolves around Aug 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The fastest lap time recorded during the official race will determine the result, and the market will close once the race concludes and results are officially announced and widely reported.
