In the upcoming EFL Championship game between Millwall FC and West Ham United FC, scheduled for September 19, 2026 at 7:30 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Millwall FC vs. West Ham United FC match originally scheduled for September 19, 2026 at 7:30 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds due to varying levels of information and incentives. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market allows participants to directly express their beliefs about the likelihood of each exact score. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially when public opinion strongly deviates from the sportsbook’s initial assessment. Comparing the two can offer valuable insights into market sentiment and potential value bets, though this market represents a unique forecast independent of traditional betting venues.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each possible exact score. The price of each share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective belief of the crowd. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more shares purchased for a specific score, the higher its price becomes, indicating increased confidence in that result. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to new information and changing perceptions.
This market resolves around Sep 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Millwall vs. West Ham match, as officially recorded by a reputable sports data source, will determine the winning outcome. The market will settle to 100% for the correct exact score and 0% for all other possibilities. It’s important to note that the resolution is based on the official result, regardless of any pre-match or in-play odds fluctuations.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before the match concludes. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Millwall or West Ham would likely cause substantial shifts in probabilities. Changes in weather conditions, such as heavy rain or strong winds, could also impact the expected style of play and influence the market. Additionally, any significant pre-match analysis or expert predictions could sway public opinion and lead to adjustments in the odds. Unexpected team formations or tactical changes announced shortly before kickoff could also move this market.
