This market focuses on determining which team will score more runs specifically during the final inning of an upcoming baseball game between Miami and Kansas City. It captures the excitement and strategic shifts that often occur in the last inning, where bullpens are tested and late-game tactics come into play.
The market resolves based solely on the number of runs scored by each team during the 9th inning of the designated game. If Miami scores more runs than Kansas City in that inning, the 'Miami wins 9th inning' market resolves to Yes. Conversely, if Kansas City scores more runs, the 'Kansas City wins 9th inning' market resolves to Yes. Should neither team score more runs than the other—or if both teams score the same number of runs—the 'Tie 9th inning' market resolves to Yes. If the game is called early before the 9th inning is fully completed, all markets resolve to a Fair Price. The resolution depends exclusively on 9th-inning performance, regardless of whether the home team gets to bat in the bottom half of the inning, unless the inning remains incomplete due to an early game cancellation.
