Description

This market focuses on determining which team will score more runs in the first inning of an upcoming baseball game. It provides a quick snapshot of early-game performance, reflecting the offensive strength and strategic starts of each team within the first few pitches.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on the number of runs scored by each team specifically during the first inning of the designated game. If Miami scores more runs than Chicago C in that inning, the 'Miami wins 1st inning' market resolves to Yes. Conversely, if Chicago C scores more runs than Miami, the 'Chicago C wins 1st inning' market resolves to Yes. Should neither team score more runs than the other—meaning the inning ends in a tie—the 'Tie 1st inning' market resolves to Yes. If the game is called or interrupted before the first inning is fully completed, all markets resolve to a Fair Price. Only runs scored within the first inning are considered; later inning performance does not affect the outcome.
