This set of markets focuses on predicting the point differential in the first half of a college football game between Miami (OH) and Pittsburgh. Each market corresponds to a specific margin by which either team could win the first half, allowing participants to bet on various possible outcomes.
All markets resolve based solely on points scored during the first half of the Miami (OH) vs Pittsburgh college football game scheduled for Sep 5, 2026. If Pittsburgh wins the first half by more than the specified margin listed in the market title, that market resolves to Yes; if Miami (OH) wins by more than the specified margin, that corresponding market resolves to Yes. If neither team meets their respective margin criteria, all markets resolve to No. Should the game be postponed but commence within 48 hours of the original start time, all markets remain active and resolve according to the actual first-half result. If the game fails to start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, all markets will resolve at a fair price, taking into account all known information up to that point.
On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Kalshi, traders set the price through continuous bidding and asking, creating a dynamic spread that reflects their collective view of Miami (OH)’s performance in the first half. The current top outcome and its chance percentage are derived from the best available bids and asks. Unlike fixed sportsbook lines, this market’s spread can shift throughout the event’s lead-up, reacting to news, injury reports, and practice performances. Volume of $49,130 shows how much trading activity is behind the current price.
This market resolves around Sep 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result is based on the official game statistics for the first half, specifically the point differential between the two teams at halftime. As long as the game goes off as scheduled, the market will close shortly after the first half ends, reflecting the actual spread outcome. No manual intervention or platform-specific rules affect this process—only publicly available data.
Several signals could shift this market before it resolves. Key player injuries, coaching decisions, or weather conditions affecting the game could all influence trader sentiment. For example, if Miami (OH)’s starting quarterback is ruled out due to injury, the spread may narrow as traders adjust their expectations. Similarly, strong performance in recent practices or a change in Pittsburgh’s strategy could cause the market to move in either direction. Public polling or expert analysis released close to game day may also impact volume and pricing on Kalshi as traders react to new information.
