Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on their own analysis, incorporating factors like team statistics and expert opinions. This market, however, allows traders to express their own views, potentially leading to odds that diverge from sportsbook lines if there's significant disagreement or access to unique information. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information than sportsbooks, as the price adjusts with each trade.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the probability of that outcome, as implied by the market, rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price reflects the collective intelligence of all participants, making it a dynamic and responsive indicator of expectations for the Hapoel Be'er Sheva vs. Dinamo Zagreb match.

This market resolves around Sep 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which team scores the first goal in the Hapoel Be'er Sheva vs. Dinamo Zagreb match. If no goal is scored by either team, the market will resolve as 'No Goal Scored'. The outcome will be determined by official match records and verified against reliable sources of sports data, ensuring a transparent and accurate resolution process.

Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in coaching staff, or unexpected player suspensions could significantly impact expectations. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from sports analysts and commentators, as well as updates on weather conditions or pitch quality, could all contribute to price movements. Major shifts in public sentiment, reflected in betting patterns, will also move this market. The closer we get to Sep 16, 2026, the more sensitive the market will be to new information.
