On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader positions into continuous odds. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy or sell shares representing each outcome, and the platform's algorithm adjusts the price based on the ratio of shares held in the pool. This mechanism ensures liquidity and allows you to enter or exit positions at transparent, real-time rates without waiting for a counterparty.
This market resolves around Jul 30, 2026, once the match concludes and the first goal is verified. The outcome is confirmed against credible public sources, such as official match records or major sports data providers. Whichever team's name is recorded as scoring first determines the winning side, and all positions settle accordingly on the platform.
Team news—injuries to key strikers or defensive players—can shift odds significantly, as can lineup announcements closer to kickoff. Weather conditions, recent form, and head-to-head history often influence trader positioning. Late injury reports or surprise tactical changes announced by either side may trigger sharp repricing. Additionally, if one team is perceived as gaining momentum or confidence in the hours before the match, traders may adjust their positions accordingly, creating visible price swings on the dashboard.
