Several catalysts could shift odds before kickoff and during the first half. Pre-match team news—such as key player injuries, lineup changes, or tactical adjustments—typically moves the market. Early first-half momentum, including early goals or missed chances, will drive real-time repricing as traders react to live action. Weather conditions, referee decisions, and red cards can also influence spread expectations. Additionally, betting syndicates and sharp money flowing into one side may signal confidence, prompting price movement. Monitor official team announcements and live match commentary for the most impactful signals.
