This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between Sussex Women and Middlesex Women scheduled for 2026-08-02 in Metro Bank One Day Cup Women League 2. This market resolves according to the finalized match statistics as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Sussex Women will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Sussex Women. The outcome corresponding to Middlesex Women will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from Middlesex Women. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.
The market resolves to Yes for the specified team if they are declared the official winner of the match by the governing league. If the match ends in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, cancellation, or insufficient play to determine a winner, all markets resolve to $0.50. If a forfeit, disqualification, or concession occurs before the match begins, all markets resolve to $0.50. If it occurs after the match begins and the governing body declares an official winner, the market resolves based on that result.
On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can vary due to differences in user base, liquidity, and trading activity. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, one platform might attract more local fans, skewing its odds toward a particular player, while the other could reflect a more global, data-driven crowd. Additionally, each venue sets its own fee structure and minimum trade sizes, which influence how traders place bets and, consequently, how probabilities are priced.
Injuries, weather delays, and practice performances can all shift this market as they alter expectations about which players will bat highest. Key signals include updates from team announcements, pitch conditions on the day of the match, and recent batting averages against the opposing bowlers. Traders should also watch for volume spikes on Polymarket or Kalshi, which often precede significant probability adjustments.
