This market refers to the cricket match between Hampshire and Durham scheduled for August 2 2026 in Metro Bank One Day Cup. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

On traditional sportsbooks, odds are set by professional analysts and reflect bookmaker margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven entirely by trader sentiment. This creates subtle differences in implied probabilities — for example, a 50 percent chance on sportsbooks might appear as a slightly lower or higher percentage here depending on trader confidence. The dynamics of this market allow for rapid adjustments based on real-time news and shifting expectations, offering a unique perspective compared to fixed sportsbook lines.
This market resolves around Aug 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be determined by the official match conclusion, and the contract will settle based on that final score or declared winner, aligning with standard sports event reporting practices.
Injuries to key players, weather delays, or shifts in team form could move this market before Aug 9, 2026. Media coverage, betting trends, and analyst predictions may also influence trader sentiment, causing odds to adjust as new information emerges closer to the match start. Any last-minute roster changes or venue updates are likely to create volatility in the final days.
