This market will resolve to "YES" for the listed player or players whose national team advances the furthest at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. For the purposes of this market, Lionel Messi represents Argentina, Cristiano Ronaldo represents Portugal, Neymar represents Brazil, and Luka Modrić represents Croatia. For the purposes of this market, the tournament winner will be considered to have advanced further than the runner-up. If two or more listed players' national teams are eliminated in the same round and no listed player's national team advances further, all such outcomes will resolve to "YES". If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed player's national team to advance as far as the furthest-advancing listed player's national team, the associated outcome will resolve to "NO". This market will resolve once all listed players' national teams have completed their participation in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2026, 23:59 UTC, or the final tournament results for the listed players' national teams are not available within that timeframe, all outcomes will resolve to "NO". The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA.com; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and profit, while prediction markets like this one are driven by trader belief and real-money conviction. Sportsbooks may adjust faster for sharp action, whereas prediction markets can lag if retail traders dominate early. Over time, both converge toward true probability as new information arrives. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks reveals whether traders are pricing in factors bookmakers have overlooked or vice versa, making the comparison valuable for identifying mispriced outcomes.
On Limitless, traders set prices through continuous order-book matching, where buy and sell orders determine the real-time probability for each legend. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome's price reflects the aggregate conviction of all active traders, with higher prices indicating stronger belief in that player's advancement. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices adjust to breaking news or match results. The platform's transparent order flow allows traders to see depth and execute at market or place limit orders to capture perceived mispricings, ensuring prices remain competitive and responsive to new information.
This market resolves around Jul 20, 2026, once the tournament concludes and the furthest advancement for each legend is verified. The outcome is determined by comparing how far Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, and Modrić each advance in the competition, with the winner being the player whose team reaches the latest stage. Resolution is confirmed against credible public reporting of official tournament results. Early eliminations or injuries that prevent participation are factored into the final determination, ensuring clarity on which legend achieved the deepest run.
Key catalysts include injury announcements affecting any of the four players, team qualification results, and performance in group-stage matches that signal tournament strength. Managerial changes, tactical shifts, or unexpected squad selections can reshape expectations. As the tournament progresses, each knockout-stage result directly impacts odds, with eliminations removing players from contention and advancing teams boosting their legend's chances. Transfer news or public statements about retirement intentions may also influence trader positioning. Media narratives and expert punditry can shift retail sentiment, while sharp traders may react faster to underlying data like possession metrics or expected goals in early matches.
