These markets evaluate different scoring thresholds for points accumulated by both teams in the first half of a college football game. Each threshold represents a specific point total that, if exceeded, determines the outcome of that particular market.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams during the first half of the Marshall vs Penn St. college football game scheduled for Sep 5, 2026. Each market has a unique threshold: if the combined first-half points exceed that threshold, the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. For all markets, only points scored in the first half count. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the official result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the NCAA, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
On Kalshi, this market reflects trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction market odds often diverge from sportsbook odds due to different participant motivations and information sources. Traders on Kalshi may price in nuances not captured by standard sportsbook models, such as specific in-game scenarios or conditions affecting the first half. The resulting probabilities can therefore appear more volatile or reflect alternative risk assessments compared to conventional betting markets.
On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Kalshi, traders manually set prices through buying and selling contracts, which determines the current odds. The top outcome’s chance reflects the collective assessment of participants about whether the total points scored in the first half will go over or under the set line. Volume of $16,864 indicates overall interest and liquidity in the market.
This market resolves around Sep 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the first half will determine whether the over or under hits, and the market will close based on that official result.
In the run-up to Sep 5, 2026, several key factors could shift expectations for this market. Strong pre-game performances or injuries to key players may sway trader sentiment. Changes in team strategies or weather conditions impacting the first half could also influence odds. As the game approaches, updated polling data, expert analyses, and betting trends may further adjust the market. Any last-minute news affecting either team's likelihood of scoring in the initial half will continue to drive volatility.
