On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular team, the price of those shares increases, reflecting growing confidence in their ability to score first. Conversely, selling pressure drives prices down. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date collective intelligence regarding the match.
This market resolves around Sep 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on which team, Manta FC or Orense SC, scores the first goal in the match. Official match reports and verified sources will be used to determine the winning outcome. The platform will then distribute payouts to traders who correctly predicted the first team to score, based on their share holdings at the time of resolution. The process is designed to be transparent and based on objective, publicly available information.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before Sep 21, 2026. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Manta FC or Orense SC would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, such as recent wins or losses, could also shift market sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even pre-match tactical announcements from the coaches, could lead to traders adjusting their positions. Finally, large-volume trades by influential market participants could create short-term price fluctuations, reflecting a shift in overall market perception.
