If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by traders risking real capital on their beliefs about the outcome. This market aggregates dispersed knowledge from many independent traders, which can reveal edges that sportsbooks have not yet priced in. Comparing the two can highlight where public perception differs from bookmaker consensus, though both should be viewed as estimates rather than certainties.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that calculates odds based on the ratio of shares held in each outcome pool. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell exact score contracts directly against the liquidity pool, and their trades move prices in real time. The more capital flowing into a particular scoreline, the higher its price rises; conversely, outcomes receiving less interest decline. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market reflects the latest information and trader conviction about which exact score is most likely.
This market resolves around Jul 26, 2026, once the Malmo FF versus Elfsborg match concludes and the final scoreline is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact number of goals scored by each team at the end of regulation time. No adjustments are made for extra time or penalty shootouts unless the competition rules explicitly require them. Traders should monitor official league announcements and match reports to confirm the final score before settlement is confirmed.
Key catalysts that could shift prices include team news such as injuries to star players, lineup announcements, or tactical changes revealed in the days before kickoff. Recent form, head-to-head history, and weather conditions on match day can all influence trader expectations about scoring patterns. Late-breaking developments like a manager's public comments or unexpected roster rotations may trigger rapid repricing. Additionally, early match action—goals scored in the opening minutes—will dramatically reshape odds for remaining scorelines as traders update their probability estimates based on live performance.
