Prediction market odds on this market often reflect a different outlook than traditional sportsbook lines. While sportsbooks incorporate sharp lines and adjustments for public betting patterns, prediction markets let traders bet directly on their beliefs, which can create prices that vary by a few points. The spread between the two can widen if major news emerges, such as key player injuries, affecting trader sentiment differently than bookmaker adjustments.
