On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of a particular outcome. As more traders buy shares in a specific outcome, the price of those shares increases, reflecting a higher perceived probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. This creates a dynamic pricing system where the market's collective intelligence determines the odds, and the current price reflects the aggregated beliefs of all participants.
This market resolves around Sep 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Oleh Maksymkiv vs. Viktor Ivanytskyi match, as reported by the governing sports body. The platform will verify the result against publicly available and trusted sources to ensure accuracy and fairness. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected performance in prior matches could significantly shift trader sentiment. Public opinion, as reflected in polls or expert analysis, may also play a role, although the market is ultimately driven by trading activity. Major upsets in related matches or broader sporting events could also indirectly affect the perceived probabilities. Monitoring these signals will be crucial for anyone looking to capitalize on potential price movements before Sep 10, 2026.
