Prediction market odds on Polymarket often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect real-time trader sentiment rather than fixed bookmaker margins. Sportsbooks typically adjust odds based on liability and sharp action, while prediction markets aggregate decentralized participant beliefs. For the Makarska doubles final, comparing Polymarket implied probabilities to major sportsbook spreads can reveal whether the crowd is pricing Martins/Ovcharenko or Haverlag/Waltert differently than professional oddsmakers, potentially identifying value opportunities.
The Makarska (Doubles): Martins/Ovcharenko vs Haverlag/Waltert market resolves on Jun 13, 2026. Resolution is determined by the official result of the doubles match at the Makarska tournament. The winning pair will be confirmed through ATP or tournament records, and the market will settle accordingly, paying out traders who backed the correct outcome and returning losses to those on the losing side.
Key catalysts for price movement include player injury reports, recent form and head-to-head records, court conditions at Makarska, and lineup confirmations closer to match day. Unexpected withdrawals or roster changes could shift odds significantly. Media coverage of player statements, betting syndicates entering the market, and real-time match momentum during warm-ups may also trigger repricing. Weather delays or scheduling changes could influence trader positioning in the final hours before play begins.
