This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between Washington Freedom and Texas Super Kings scheduled for 2026-06-27 in Major League Cricket. This market resolves according to the finalized match statistics as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Washington Freedom will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Washington Freedom. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.
The match resolves to Yes for the winning team based on the official result declared by the governing body. If the match ends in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, or cancellation with no official winner declared, all markets resolve to $0.50. In cases of forfeit, disqualification, or concession occurring before the match begins, all markets resolve to $0.50. If such events occur after play has begun and the governing body declares an official winner, the market resolves based on that declared result. If play commences but insufficient play occurs to determine an official result, all markets resolve to $0.50.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform operates under distinct regulatory frameworks, user bases, and liquidity pools, which can cause temporary price gaps. Kalshi and Polymarket may also enforce different rules around market closure timing, dispute resolution, and what counts as a valid outcome. Arbitrage traders typically exploit these spreads, but friction costs—withdrawal delays, trading fees, or platform-specific restrictions—can prevent instant convergence. Monitoring both venues helps you identify when one platform is overpriced relative to the other, creating tactical entry or exit points before the gap closes.
Key catalysts include injury announcements affecting either team's top-order batters, last-minute lineup changes, or weather conditions that might favor one side's batting style. Pre-match form—recent centuries, strike rates, or head-to-head records—often triggers repricing as traders reassess win probability. Toss outcomes and pitch conditions revealed on match day can shift momentum sharply. Live action during the game itself will drive the most dramatic moves, as runs accumulate and player performance becomes observable. Monitor team social media, official MLC announcements, and broadcast previews for early signals.
