This market refers to the cricket match between Washington Freedom and Texas Super Kings scheduled for June 27 2026 in Major League Cricket. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven purely by trader belief—there's no house edge or margin built in. Traders here have direct financial exposure to accuracy, which can make prediction market prices more responsive to new information. However, sportsbooks may move faster on breaking news due to their professional risk management. Comparing the two can reveal where casual bettors and professional traders disagree on this matchup's likely outcome.
On Polymarket, traders set the price of each outcome by buying and selling shares in a continuous order-book system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share reflects the collective probability that traders assign to that result—a share trading at 0.72 implies a 72% chance of that outcome occurring. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, traders adjust their bids and asks, causing the price to move. Your ability to enter or exit at any time means the market price continuously incorporates fresh views on the Washington Freedom vs Texas Super Kings match.
This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official result of the game between these two teams. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as odds shift with team news, player availability, or other developments. Resolution is automatic once the event is finalized, and all positions settle according to the confirmed result.
Key injury announcements, roster changes, or lineup decisions from either team can significantly shift trader sentiment in this market. Recent performance trends, head-to-head records, and venue conditions may also influence pricing as the match date approaches. Weather forecasts, if relevant to outdoor play, and any last-minute coaching or strategy adjustments could trigger sharp moves. Media reports, expert commentary, and betting action on traditional sportsbooks sometimes precede prediction market repricing. Close attention to team social media, official statements, and sports news outlets will help you spot catalysts before they're fully priced in.
