This market refers to the cricket match between Mi New York and Texas Super Kings scheduled for June 26 2026 in Major League Cricket. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they serve different purposes and operate under different constraints. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets reflect pure trader belief—there is no house edge or vig. Prediction markets typically aggregate dispersed information more efficiently over time, especially as new data emerges closer to game day. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks can reveal whether traders are pricing in factors that traditional oddsmakers have overlooked or underweighted.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the collective assessment of all active traders at any given moment. As new information emerges—team news, injury reports, or betting patterns—traders adjust their positions, which moves the price. Higher prices indicate greater confidence in that outcome, while lower prices suggest skepticism. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market stays responsive to real-world developments leading up to the match.
This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official match result as documented by Major League Cricket and mainstream sports media. Resolution occurs after sufficient time has passed for the result to be widely confirmed and any potential disputes to be clarified. Traders should monitor official league announcements and reputable cricket news sources in the days surrounding the end date to stay informed.
Key catalysts include team roster announcements, player injuries or absences, recent form and head-to-head records, and weather forecasts for match day. Betting activity from sharp bettors or syndicates can also shift prices sharply if large positions are taken. Breaking news about venue conditions, umpire assignments, or last-minute lineup changes often triggers repricing. Social media sentiment and expert commentary may influence retail traders. As the match date approaches, any official league communications or injury updates will likely drive significant market movement, so staying alert to cricket news is essential for tracking this market.
