This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Shivamogga Yodhas and Gulbarga Mystics scheduled for 2026-06-30 in Maharaja T20 Trophy. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Shivamogga Yodhas will be considered correct if Shivamogga Yodhas is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Gulbarga Mystics will be considered correct if Gulbarga Mystics is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price outcomes differently. Sportsbooks set odds based on internal models and risk management, while this market reflects real-time consensus from thousands of independent traders. Prediction market prices often incorporate diverse information sources and crowd wisdom, sometimes diverging from sportsbook lines. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd sees value or disagreement. However, sportsbook odds typically include built-in margins, whereas prediction markets operate on tighter spreads, making direct comparison useful for identifying potential mispricings.
On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker mechanism, where buying or selling shares moves the odds in real time. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome is represented as a tradeable contract, and the cumulative probability across all outcomes equals 100 percent. As more capital flows into one side, that outcome's price rises and its implied probability increases. This continuous pricing model ensures liquidity and allows participants to enter or exit positions throughout the trading window, with transaction costs embedded in the spread.
This market resolves around Jul 7, 2026, once the toss outcome is verifiable from credible public reporting of the match. The result will be confirmed based on which team wins the coin toss at the start of play. Resolution occurs shortly after the event concludes and official confirmation is available. Traders should monitor reliable sports news sources and the platform's resolution timeline to stay informed of any delays or clarifications.
Market prices may shift based on team news, injury updates, or weather conditions affecting match conditions on game day. Betting patterns and large trades by informed participants can also influence odds as new information emerges. Public commentary from analysts or team insiders may sway trader sentiment. Closer to the match, final team lineups and on-ground conditions become focal points. Unusual trading volume or sudden price movements often signal new information entering the market, prompting other traders to reassess their positions before the toss occurs.
