This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Shivamogga Yodhas and Coastal Kings Mangaluru scheduled for 2026-07-11 in Maharaja T20 Trophy. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Shivamogga Yodhas will be considered correct if Shivamogga Yodhas is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Coastal Kings Mangaluru will be considered correct if Coastal Kings Mangaluru is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different mechanisms. Sportsbooks set fixed lines designed to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate real-time trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. For this market, prediction market odds may move faster in response to breaking news or team updates, whereas sportsbook lines adjust less frequently. Neither is inherently more accurate; they simply represent different pricing philosophies and liquidity models.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader bets into continuous probability curves. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome trades as a separate contract, and the current price of each reflects the aggregate confidence of all active traders. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, the price adjusts in real time, allowing you to enter or exit positions at the latest consensus odds without waiting for a counterparty.
This market resolves around Jul 18, 2026, once the toss outcome is confirmed and verifiable from credible public reporting of the match. The resolution hinges on the official result announced at the ground or by the tournament organizers. Until that moment, prices may fluctuate as new information surfaces or as traders update their expectations based on team news, weather, or other pre-match factors.
Several catalysts could shift odds before the match begins. Team announcements regarding player availability or tactical changes often trigger repricing, as do weather updates that might favor one outcome. Social media sentiment, expert commentary, and betting patterns from other venues can also influence trader behavior. Late-breaking injury news or toss-specific historical data about the venue may prompt sharp traders to adjust positions, creating visible price momentum in the final hours before the event.
