This market refers to the cricket match between Shivamogga Yodhas and Coastal Kings Mangaluru scheduled for June 28 2026 in Maharaja T20 Trophy. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. This market may show a different implied probability than traditional sports betting sites, especially if one venue has sharper information or attracts a different crowd. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus is strongest or where informed traders see value relative to conventional bookmakers.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on the volume and direction of trades. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy shares representing each outcome, and the price of those shares reflects the collective assessment of the match result. As more capital flows into one outcome, its price rises and the implied probability increases. The system ensures continuous liquidity and transparent pricing, so you can see exactly what the market believes at any moment.
This market resolves around Jul 5, 2026, once the Maharaja T20 Trophy match between Shivamogga and Coastal Kings concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the official match result—which team wins the fixture. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the final ball, allowing traders to settle their positions promptly. Until that point, the market remains open for trading as new information and momentum shift trader sentiment.
Key catalysts include team roster announcements, injury updates, weather forecasts, and recent form trends leading into match day. Toss outcomes and early innings momentum can trigger sharp repricing once play begins. Social media sentiment, expert commentary, and betting syndicate activity may also shift the odds. Live trading during the match itself often produces the largest moves, as runs scored, wickets lost, and field placements provide real-time data that traders incorporate instantly into their positions.
