This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Mysore Warriors and Coastal Kings Mangaluru scheduled for 2026-06-30 in Maharaja T20 Trophy. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Mysore Warriors will be considered correct if Mysore Warriors is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Coastal Kings Mangaluru will be considered correct if Coastal Kings Mangaluru is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are driven purely by trader belief and financial incentive to forecast accurately. In this market, prediction traders have skin in the game and face direct financial consequences for misforecasting the toss outcome, which can sharpen accuracy. Comparing the two reveals whether bookmakers or the crowd is more bullish on a particular result, though each operates under distinct constraints and objectives.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the collective belief of all participants; as more traders back one result, its share price rises and the implied probability climbs. You can enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes, and the continuous pricing mechanism ensures that late-arriving information is quickly incorporated into the odds. This dynamic process rewards accurate forecasting and punishes poor judgment in real time.
This market resolves around Jul 7, 2026, once the toss result from the Maharaja T20 Trophy match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official toss call announced at the ground and recorded by the match officials. Until that moment, traders can continue to adjust their positions as new information emerges. Resolution is automatic once the event concludes and the result is publicly documented, ensuring all participants see the same verified outcome.
Several factors may shift odds before the match begins. Weather conditions at the venue could influence perceptions of which captain might prefer batting or bowling first, prompting traders to adjust their positions. Team news—injuries, last-minute roster changes, or tactical announcements—may alter confidence in either side's strategy. Betting patterns and sharp money flowing into one outcome can also trigger momentum trades. Additionally, any official statements from team management or broadcast commentary hinting at toss strategy could sway sentiment and trigger repricing across the market.
