This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Hubli Tigers and Mysore Warriors scheduled for 2026-07-02 in Maharaja T20 Trophy. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Hubli Tigers will be considered correct if Hubli Tigers is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Mysore Warriors will be considered correct if Mysore Warriors is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms and participant bases. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders seeking to profit on accurate forecasts. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper, more efficient pricing because participants have direct financial incentive to correct mispricings. However, sportsbooks may incorporate additional proprietary data or real-time adjustments. Comparing both sources can reveal valuable insights into how different groups assess the toss outcome.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker (AMM) model where traders buy and sell outcome shares directly against a liquidity pool. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more capital flows into one outcome, the price of that share rises and the opposing outcome becomes cheaper, creating a continuous price discovery mechanism. Traders profit by identifying mispriced outcomes and trading against the pool. The resulting prices reflect the aggregate belief of all market participants about the toss result, updated in real time as new information or sentiment emerges.
This market resolves around Jul 9, 2026, once the Maharaja T20 Trophy match between Hubli Tigers and Mysore Warriors concludes and the toss result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the official toss call recorded at the start of the match. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome receive their payout once the result is confirmed and the market settles. Early resolution is possible if the match is cancelled or postponed under conditions specified by the market rules.
Several factors may shift odds in this market before resolution. Weather conditions, pitch reports, or team news could influence trader expectations about which captain wins the toss, though the toss itself remains random. Changes in team composition, injury updates, or venue-specific factors might alter perceived strategic value of winning the toss, indirectly affecting trading activity. Media commentary or expert analysis published closer to match day could sway sentiment. As the match start time approaches, liquidity typically increases and prices may stabilize. The toss outcome is ultimately independent, but market prices reflect trader confidence based on available information.
