Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks may set initial lines based on statistical models and expert opinions, but can also be influenced by factors like public betting patterns or risk management. This market, however, allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome, potentially leading to odds that more accurately reflect the true probability of an event. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as the event approaches and more information is factored in by market participants.
