Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into the odds. This market, driven by the wisdom of the crowd, can sometimes provide more accurate probabilities, especially as new information emerges. While sportsbooks may initially have different odds, they frequently adjust based on betting action, potentially converging with the prediction market's assessment. It's useful to compare both to form a well-rounded view.
