Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders expressing their beliefs. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook lines, it could indicate that the crowd perceives information differently than the bookmakers, or that one venue has a more efficient market. It’s important to note that these are independent assessments of the same event.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome of the Kivattsev vs De Marchi match. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment. The market’s price is determined entirely by supply and demand – if more people believe a particular outcome will happen, they will buy shares, driving up the price and increasing the implied probability.
This market resolves around Sep 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
