Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the wisdom of the crowd effect. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk assessment, while this market aggregates the predictions of many individuals. If a significant number of people believe a sportsbook is mispricing a player’s chances, the prediction market may reflect a different probability. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before a lot of money has been traded on Polymarket.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe a particular player will win, the higher the price of shares representing that player. This dynamic pricing reflects the collective intelligence of the market participants, creating a real-time assessment of the match’s likely result.
This market resolves around Sep 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The platform will verify the winner based on publicly available sources, such as official tournament websites and sports news outlets, to determine the final payout for this market.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market.
